Ask about your company’s own files
Ask xMap answers from your reference files and My data tables, and says where each answer comes from.
Ask Ask xMap about your own business, in the app or on WhatsApp: what does the Barista Pro cost on our price list?, what are our return terms?, which supplier sells us oat milk? It searches your organization’s reference files (the PDFs, CSVs and text files your team uploaded for AI blocks, listed in Settings, Reference files) and your My data tables, answers from the best passages and names the file or table each fact comes from. When nothing matches, it says so instead of guessing.
A file or table can be searched as soon as it is uploaded or made, and rows you add are searched at once. Everyone in your organization can ask about them, as everyone there can open them; nobody in another organization ever can. An organization can have up to 20,000 passages of about 1,500 characters searched; past that, the card says so.
Files are what other people wrote: Ask xMap never follows instructions in them, and anything it would do after reading them waits for your Yes. The search runs inside xMap; nothing is sent to an outside service. An organization admin can switch it off in Settings, Advanced, Ask xMap and your company files: the search index is deleted, and your files and tables stay. Deleting a file or table deletes its passages too.
