How much an AI employee does alone

Ask me first, Act and tell me, or Fully on its own: one choice for each employee.

Open it in the app

Every AI employee that sends something (emails, Slack, WhatsApp, a CRM, a report, your API or database) has one choice for how much it does alone. Pick it in Ready to go live? before its first deploy, or any time in its panel (click its picture on Flows). Its card says which it is.

  • Ask me first: every email and message waits for your OK. It puts an Approval block before each send (each item on its own, and you can rewrite a message it drafted); you answer from the bell, the email or the Team inbox, and declined items are not sent.
  • Act and tell me: it sends on its own, then posts a note in the Team inbox saying what it sent.
  • Fully on its own: it sends, and only tells you when something is wrong (a failed run, a budget pause, an approval it needs).

In all three it stops at its monthly budget, and a test run never sends. Approval blocks you added yourself stay whatever you choose; switching away from Ask me first takes out only the one it added. Only the owner or an admin can change it, with the Deploy permission. Employees that answer conversations (chat pages, messages) reply at once, so Ask me first does not apply to them.

Deploy stays one click: deploying always switches sending on. The API can still deploy with delivery: false to run without sending.
