Connect two flows
Hand what one flow finds to another: Run another flow, and a From another flow start in the other one.
One flow can hand what it finds to another, so a step you built once (scoring, checks, a report) works for many flows. It takes two pieces: a Run another flow step in the flow that finds things, and a From another flow start in the flow that takes them.
- In the flow that finds things, add Run another flow after the step whose items you want to hand over, and pick the other flow under Flow to run.
- If the other flow has no way to take items in, the settings say so: press Let it take items from other flows. It gets a From another flow start, linked to its first step, and nothing else in it changes.
- Choose Once (one run with every item) or Once per item, and whether to carry on with what the other flow found (Use its results) or just start it.
- Run once, or deploy: only real runs run other flows. A test run says what a real run would do.
You can also start from the other side: in the flow that should take items, open the ... menu and pick Start from another flow. Then pick it in a Run another flow step elsewhere.
A From another flow start has no public address: only flows of your organization can hand it items, and it works whether or not outside webhooks are switched on. Its own timetable, if it has one, stays as it is. Between two AI employees you can also drag one onto the other on the team chart (a handoff), which adds both pieces at once.
