Paused for now. New site reports are switched off while xMap improves the data behind them (population figures and opening dates). Reports already made still open, with their PDF and shared links. This is how it works when it is back:

Click any spot on Results, Map (or use Site report on an area you drew, or under an answer of Ask the map). A card says what the report costs first; press Get the report and the scorecard comes in under a minute:

  • People within 10 minutes by car: the travel area (Travel area), then who lives in it (Demographics). Where xMap has no population figures it says so; where the travel area is an estimate (a circle at city driving speed) it says that too.
  • The competition within 1 km: how many places of your kind (the kind xMap remembers for your company, else restaurants), chains and independents, their average rating and the nearest five.
  • New openings: how many of them opened in the last year.
  • The road speed around it (Traffic Flow), when it is measured.

PDF downloads it as one page with your logo; Share a link makes a public page (no name or email on it), listed under Settings, Shared links, where you can stop it. Only the live searches are charged, never more than the price shown; sample figures are free and said so.
