See how busy the area around your places is
Footfall per day, the busiest hour and day, the trend, and where visitors come from, as aggregates only.
Mobility Footfall works on the places that reach it (your stores, candidate sites or venues) and adds how busy the area around each one is, from xMap’s own mobility data.
- Around each place: up to 200 m it is the place’s own block of the map (about 0.1 km²); wider, every block whose middle is inside the circle, added up.
- Time window: the last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, ending about 10 days ago (each day’s footfall arrives about 10 days later). Days: all days, weekdays or weekends (Friday and Saturday in most of the Gulf).
- Return: Footfall, Busy hours, Busiest days, Trend, and Where visitors come from (the trips that end there).
Each place gets footfall_daily (the average day), footfall_peak_hour, footfall_by_part, busiest_day, footfall_trend, and from trips visitors_from, trip_modes, trip_purposes, avg_trip_km and ride_hailing_pct. Put a Filter on Footfall per day after it to keep the busiest places.
Footfall is people-hours of presence, scaled from a panel of devices to the whole population: someone who stays three hours counts three times. Compare places with each other; it is not a count of unique visitors.
Aggregates only: no person, device or single trip leaves xMap, and a group of fewer than 5 trips is not shown. Footfall covers most of the world from 17 October 2026 (not yet Australia), and hours are each place’s own local time. Each day’s footfall arrives about 10 days later, so the window you pick ends 10 days ago; when its days are later than usual, the block uses the newest days there are and says which in footfall_note. Trips so far cover Sao Paulo. A place with no data yet says No footfall data here yet and costs nothing.
