Getting started

Find your way around the app

Flows, Team inbox, Results and Settings, and what lives under each.

Open it in the app

The app has four places, in the menu on a computer and in the bar at the bottom on a phone. Some have tabs along the top. A place or tab shows once it has something to show: a new team sees Flows and Settings, then Team inbox once an AI employee works and Results once something is found. A place that just appeared has a dot until you open it. The app always opens on Flows.

  • Flows: your AI employees, with the box to ask xMap for a new one; A ready AI employee opens the templates. Each card says in a word whether it is Working, Off or Failed, beside Deploy or Pause, and its ... menu has Rename (the AI employee’s own name and the flow’s), folders, tags and more. In the search row, the Show dropdown (All, Mine, Live and more, with counts), Cards or Chart at its right end, and a button with a clock that opens All runs, Monitor (every live flow at a glance) and Shared with you once you have them.
  • Team inbox: a thread for each AI employee, with its daily note and anything urgent. Reply in plain words to ask it something or change what it does.
  • Results: List (one search box and a Filters button), Map (one map of everything your AI employees found, as layers) and Reports (week by week, with your dashboards and saved maps), plus Outreach and Visits when a flow uses them. Your first screen and the overview are pages under it: Search finds them.
  • Settings: Profile (your name, picture, password, notifications and credits; appearance, your first screen and the rest under Advanced), Team (with Activity under its title), Your data (files you upload and lists you save), Connections (the apps and databases your flows use), Billing (with Usage under its title) and, once you share something, Shared links.

Help, What’s new and Tell us what you think are in the menu under your picture.

A flow opens in the editor, full screen. On a phone the editor shows the flow as a list of steps; the canvas is one tap away.
