Watch web pages for changes

A page that changed, said in plain words, or the new entries of a list such as tenders or listings.

Web page watch reads up to 10 public web pages each run and remembers what each one said. The first look only remembers; from the next run on, only the pages that changed go on.

  • Read the page of each item: for a link that arrives with each item (a Slack message, a row of a table): the page is read now, nothing is compared or remembered, and its title and words go on as page_title and page_text, so xMap LLM after it can fill in what the page says.
  • Any change on the page: each changed page comes with the lines added and removed, and, with Say what changed on, one or two plain sentences by xMap AI. Changes that are only dates, counters or adverts are left out; What matters narrows it further, such as prices or opening hours.
  • New entries in a list: xMap AI reads the page and lists its entries, such as tenders, property listings or job openings, with the fields you ask for (a deadline, a value, a city). Only the entries not seen at the last look go on, each with its own link when the page gives one.

Pages in any language work. Only public pages are read, once a run each, and a page whose robots.txt asks robots not to read it is left out, said in the step. A test run never moves what was remembered: only a real run does (Run once, or a live flow). Its price is on the block’s page.
