Where your data is kept
The United States for the app and its database; no choice of region yet.
The application, its database, its backups and the files it makes run in the United States, with Vercel and Neon. xMap’s own data services (places, job postings, traffic, demographics) run on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (most on Google Cloud, some older ones on Amazon Web Services in Japan) and receive only what a flow searches for. The other providers, and the safeguards for data sent abroad, are in the Privacy Policy and on the Security page.
A choice of data region, for example the European Union, is not offered today, and xMap has no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate yet. If your organization needs either, book a call or write to legal@xmap.ai so we know.
