Check the air quality around your places
The air quality index, particles, ozone and pollen for up to 5 days, for each place or city, with its level in words.
Air quality brings in the air quality forecast from Open-Meteo, made from the European Copernicus service’s global model: the US and European air quality index, the particles PM2.5 and PM10, ozone and nitrogen dioxide, and pollen in Europe.
- Where: each place that reaches it (your schools, sites or hotels), each city or area of the Area of interest, cities you type, or a point.
- Index: the US index (Good, Moderate, Unhealthy for sensitive groups, Unhealthy, Very unhealthy, Hazardous) or the European one (Good, Fair, Moderate, Poor, Very poor, Extremely poor). Both indexes are on every item; the one you pick sets the level in words.
- Days ahead: today and up to 5 days. Detail: day by day (each day’s highest index) or hour by hour.
- Include pollen: grass, birch, alder, olive, mugwort and ragweed, in Europe only and in season.
Each place gets aqi, air_level, pm2_5, pm10, ozone, no2, main_pollutant, the worst day ahead (air_worst, air_worst_day), air_bad_days, a short air_summary and pollen_level. Put a Filter on Air quality index after it to keep only the days or places with bad air.
It is a forecast from a model, not a sensor next to your place: use it to plan, and follow your local authority’s official alerts.
