Live positions from the OpenSky Network: callsign, height, speed, and whether arriving, leaving or on the ground.
Flights near airports shows the aircraft near an airport, your places, an area or a point right now, from the OpenSky Network’s live positions.
- Where: Airports (pick from the world’s busiest), Each incoming place, the Area of interest, or A point; Within sets how far.
- Show: all aircraft, those in the air, those on the ground, or low ones (under 3,000 m), mostly arriving or leaving.
- Pass on: the aircraft themselves, or each of your places with
flights_nearby,flights_low,flights_on_groundand the nearest one.
Each aircraft has callsign, origin_country (where it is registered), altitude_m, speed_kmh, heading, phase (On the ground, Arriving, Leaving, Low, Cruising) and a link to it. Put a Filter on Altitude (m) or Aircraft nearby after it.
Positions are a few seconds old. Coverage is best over Europe and North America and thinner over oceans and parts of Africa and Asia; aircraft that do not send their position are not shown. Flight data from the OpenSky Network. For now OpenSky does not accept requests from xMap’s servers, so the block gives sample aircraft, marked sample, until it does.
