Web page watch
Web page watch reads public web pages for you and speaks up only when something changed: a rival’s price page, a supplier’s terms, a regulator’s guidance, opening hours. Each changed page comes with what was added and removed and, if you like, a plain summary by xMap AI. Or point it at a list on a page, such as a tender portal, property listings or a careers page, and it passes on only the new entries. Any language.
In the editor: Watches web pages for you. Each run it reads up to 10 public pages and passes on only the pages that changed since the last look, with what was added and removed and a short summary by xMap AI. Or it reads a list on a page, such as tenders, property listings or job openings, and passes on only the new entries. Any language. The first look only remembers.

Look for
Pick oneRead the page of each item: the link each incoming item carries (a Slack message, a row of a table) is read now, and its title and words go on as page_title and page_text for xMap LLM; nothing is compared or remembered. Any change on the page: the page’s text is compared with the last look. New entries in a list: xMap AI reads the page and lists its entries; only the ones not seen at the last look go on.
Only the pages whose text changed since the last look go on, with what was added and removed.

How to use it
Changes to four tax authorities’ rate pages
Four official pages read every week; the firm hears only when one changes, with what it means for clients.
New travel health notices
Each new notice comes once, with its level and country.
Rivals’ price pages
A retailer in Toronto follows the price pages of three rivals and wants to know the morning one changes.
Before: Someone checked the pages by hand on Mondays.
With the flow: The team hears the same morning, with the old and new price.
Tenders on a council portal
A facilities company in Johannesburg bids for city cleaning contracts.
New listings on an agency page
A listing on a small agency’s own site is seen before the big portals.
A target account’s careers page
A new team being hired is a reason to call this week.
A port’s notices page
A notice of a berth closure reaches the planners the morning it is posted.
Opening hours and menus of nearby rivals
Only real changes come through; a new date in the footer does not.
Good to know
- 3 credits for each page read, and 5 for each page xMap AI reads (a changed page it explains, or a list it reads).
- The first look only remembers what each page says; changes and new entries come from the next run.
- Only a real run (Run once, or a live flow) updates what was remembered; a test run compares and never moves it.
- Public pages only, one request a page a run; a page whose robots.txt asks robots not to read it is left out, and the step says so. Watch only pages whose terms allow it.
- Pages built entirely in the browser (that show nothing without running their scripts) may show little text to read.
- Without Say what changed, every change goes on, including a new date or counter on the page.
- A list entry is known by its title on that page: an entry renamed by the site comes again as new.
Works well with

- Filter: Keeps only the items that match a rule.
- Email: Sends one email per run with all the items, or one email per item.
- Slack: Channel-based messaging platform
- HubSpot: Powerful CRM that offers tools for sales, customer service, and marketing automation.
- News: Stories from news feeds (RSS or Atom) or a website’s news page: title, link, when, the source and a short summary.
