Air quality
Air quality brings in the air quality forecast for your places, cities or any point in the world: the US and European air quality index with its level in plain words, the particles PM2.5 and PM10, ozone and nitrogen dioxide, and pollen in Europe, for today and up to five days ahead. Use it to warn people before a day of bad air, to plan outdoor work and events, or to compare the air around your sites.
In the editor: The air quality forecast for up to 5 days (Open-Meteo, from the European Copernicus service’s global model): the US and European air quality index with its level in words, PM2.5, PM10, ozone and nitrogen dioxide, and pollen in Europe. For each incoming place it adds the air now, the worst day ahead and a short forecast; for cities, a point or the Area of interest it lists the forecast day by day (or hour by hour).

How to use it
Advice for residents before bad air days
Three cities checked every morning; on days of unhealthy air a plain public message is ready to send.
Keep playtime indoors when the air is worst
Head teachers hear before the first break which hours to keep children inside.
Dust and smog days at our sites
A contractor in Mumbai plans outdoor work at twelve sites.
Before: Crews worked through smog days with no warning.
With the flow: Heavy outdoor work moves to the days with cleaner air.
A clean air note for guests
A hotel group in Bangkok sends guests a morning note in the burning season.
Pollen days ahead for allergy clinics
Clinics staff up before the high pollen days.
Outdoor classes and bad air
A class moves indoors before people breathe hard in smog.
The air around my listings
Buyers ask about the air; agents have the answer at hand.
Wildfire smoke near depots
Smoke can travel far from the fire itself; the air at each depot says what the crews will breathe.
Good to know
- 1 credit for each place or location checked, at least 12 a run. Places closer than about 2 km share one forecast.
- It is a forecast from a model (the European Copernicus service), not a sensor next to your place: use it to plan, and follow your local authority’s official alerts.
- The index takes the worst of the pollutants. Particles (PM2.5) usually set it in cities and near fires; ozone on hot, sunny afternoons.
- Unhealthy for sensitive groups starts at 101 on the US index; Poor at 60 on the European one. Put a Filter on Air quality index to keep only those days or places.
- Pollen is measured in Europe only, and only in season.
- Add Natural hazards before it to see the wildfires behind a day of smoke.
Works well with
- Filter: Keeps only the items that match a rule.
- Email: Sends one email per run with all the items, or one email per item.
- Show on a map: Shows the results as points on a map, with the area of interest.
- xMap LLM: Tell the AI what to do in plain words.
- Natural hazards: Natural hazards happening now around your places, in an area or anywhere in the world: earthquakes (USGS), floods, tropical cyclones, volcanoes and droughts (GDACS, the UN and European Commission’s disaster alerts) and wildfires seen by satellite (NASA FIRMS).
- Weather forecast: The weather forecast (Open-Meteo, from national weather services) for up to 16 days: temperature, rain, wind and UV.
- My data: Brings in a table you uploaded or a list you saved on the My data page: your stores, customers, target accounts or sites.
- Slack: Channel-based messaging platform
Help articles
- Check the air quality around your places: The air quality index, particles, ozone and pollen for up to 5 days, for each place or city, with its level in words.
- Compare sites side by side: Two or three spots measured the same way, one column each, the best of every row marked and the best site and why.
