Only new
Only new lets through only the items this flow has not found before, so a flow that runs every morning sends only what is new: a shop that opened overnight, a job posted yesterday, a road closure that appeared today. The flow remembers what each real run found; each new item gets first_seen, the day it was first found.
In the editor: Lets through only the items this flow has not found before, so a daily flow sends only what is new. Each item gets first_seen (the day it was first found). Items count as found once a live, scheduled or sent run has passed.
Settings
New means not seen in
Pick oneHow long the flow remembers an item. Ever: once found, never new again. With 30 or 7 days, an item not found in that time counts as new again.
- Ever An item found once is never sent again.
- The last 30 days An item not found for 30 days counts as new again, for example a shop that closed for a while and reopened.
- The last 7 days An item not found for 7 days counts as new again.
Same item when
Pick oneHow an item is recognised from one run to the next.
- Same place, job or incident (recommended) By its own ID: the place ID on the map, the job posting’s address, the incident ID, or a ship’s MMSI. Items without one are matched by name and location.
- Same name and location By the name and the position (to about 100 m). Use it for items from your own tables or webhooks, which have no ID.
What comes out
Each item that leaves the block carries these fields, to use in the blocks after it as {{field}}.
Each new item
Items found before stop here. The new ones go on with every field they came with, plus one.
first_seen: The day this flow first found it (YYYY-MM-DD).every other field: Unchanged: name, category, address, rating and the rest.
How to use it
New places every morning, only new
Only new sits right after Map business scan, so xMap AI ranks and the email lists only places the flow has never sent before.
New outlets to CRM
New outlets go to the CRM once: a shop already created as a lead is not created again tomorrow.
New pharmacies for the sales team
A medical supplies company in Osaka wants its reps to visit every pharmacy that opens in the city, the week it opens.
Before: The team heard about new pharmacies from the pharmacies themselves, months later.
With the flow: Each morning the channel has the pharmacies that appeared since yesterday, with phone and map link.
New companies hiring, daily
Job postings are matched by their own address, so each posting reaches the inbox once, however many mornings it stays online.
Each new road closure, once
A city operations team wants one message per closure, not the same list every morning.
What opens near my stores
What opens near my stores runs every week; Only new means each store manager hears about a new neighbour once.
Places that reopened
A food supplier wants to know when a restaurant that went quiet for a month is trading again.
With New means not seen in: the last 30 days, a place that was missing for a month counts as new again.
A weekly digest of new competitors
An agency sends each client a Monday list of competitors that opened near them that week.
Good to know
- Only real runs are remembered: a schedule, a webhook call, new rows, a retry of a real run, or Run once. Test runs and Test up to here are not, so you can test as often as you like.
- The memory belongs to the flow: two flows finding the same place each count it as new once.
- Items found by a run that is still waiting (at a Wait block or for an approval) count as found too, so two runs never send the same item.
- The same item twice in one run goes on once.
- In the editor’s preview without an account, everything counts as new: the memory is on the server.
- Put it right after the block that finds things, before AI scoring and sending, so you only score and send what is new.
- Only new is free.

- xMap LLM: Tell the AI what to do in plain words.
