Every new design internship in Milan, every Monday
Marco is the only careers adviser at a small design academy in Milan.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
His students need an internship to graduate. Studios post them for a few days and fill them fast. Marco spent Friday afternoons searching job sites, and by Monday half the good ones were gone.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Marco built Talent. Talent is an AI employee: a flow of 6 blocks.
Every Monday at seven,
Every Monday at 7 (Schedule)
Talent finds the new design internships in Milan,
Design internships (Job postings)
skips the ones students already saw,
Not sent before (Only new)
sorts each by course,
Fashion, interior, product (xMap LLM)
saves the list in the students’ folder,
Students’ folder (Google Drive)
and emails it to the whole class.
This week’s list (Email)
What it solves
- Friday afternoons lost: solved by Job postings and Schedule
- Gone by Monday: solved by Only new and Email
- Students unplaced: solved by xMap LLM and Google Drive
The result
This Monday, Talent found thirty one new internships, sorted by fashion, interior and product. Students had the list at eight, and nine applied before lunch. All but three of this year’s class are already placed.
Marco stopped hunting for internships. Now he coaches students for the interviews.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.
