Why law & professional services teams use xMap Flows

Law firms, accountants and advisers win work at moments of change: a company opens, hires fast, moves or closes. xMap Flows turns those moments into a daily list from live listings and job postings, finds referral partners such as accountants, agents and notaries, and writes a short business development memo each week. An intake chat answers new clients and routes them to the right team.

Business development by memory

A daily list of companies opening, hiring or moving in your area.

Referral partners are ad hoc

Find well rated accountants, agents and notaries to partner with.

Client closures seen late

Changes to your clients' listings, such as closures and moves, flagged every week.

Intake calls at all hours

An intake chat collects the matter and routes it.

Law firms, accountants, notaries, translators and consultancies winning clients, choosing offices and serving them on time.

How a flow works for law & professional services

Every flow reads left to right: something starts it (a schedule, a message, an app event or new rows), it looks at an area, gathers data, lets xMap AI make sense of it, applies your rules, and sends the result where your team works. These are the blocks law & professional services templates use most.

  1. 1

    Where

Choose the area: countries, cities, a radius around your own sites, or shapes you draw.

Stories: what teams build

One-minute narrated stories of a flow at work. The scenarios and figures are illustrative, not customer results.

Bookkeeping

Meeting every new business in its first week

The challenge. Lauren runs a one-woman bookkeeping practice in Houston. Her clients are independent shops, cafes and studios. New clients come only through referrals, and referrals have dried up. Every new business needs a bookkeeper in its first month. But by the time Lauren hears about one, its owner has signed with a big firm downtown.

The flow. With xMap Flows, Lauren built Ledger. Every Monday at seven, across the Heights and Montrose, Ledger finds the shops, cafes and studios that opened this month, keeps the independents, scores which ones need a bookkeeper most, keeps the best eight, and emails Lauren the list, with a note drafted for each.

The result. On Monday, Ledger finds twenty-one new businesses, and the best eight are in her inbox with their phone numbers. Lauren calls them over coffee and visits three that afternoon. Two sign before their first month is out. Lauren stopped waiting for referrals. She meets new owners in their first week.

Strategy consulting

The client hears about every rival gym first

The challenge. Wing is a consultant at a global strategy firm in Hong Kong. Her client, a European gym chain, is choosing districts for its first ten clubs. Every Friday the client asks what changed in the market. Wing spends a whole day checking rival gyms district by district. She still missed a big studio in Causeway Bay closing, and the client heard it from a landlord first.

The flow. With xMap Flows, Wing built Tally. Every Friday at two, across nine districts, Tally lists every gym and fitness studio, spots the ones that closed or slipped in rating, writes what each change means for the client, and sends the note from Wing’s inbox.

The result. This Friday, Tally finds two studios closed in Causeway Bay and a rival slipping in Mong Kok. Wing’s note is with the client by three, with a map. The client moves its first club to Causeway Bay, where the gap just opened. Wing’s client used to hear the news from landlords. Now landlords hear it from them.

Property advisory

Every broker’s question answered in under a minute

The challenge. Owen heads research at a large property advisory firm in Toronto. Sixty brokers send his team questions all day. How many people live near this corner? How many cafes are on this block? Each question waits a day in the queue, and brokers walk into pitches without the answer. His three analysts spend their weeks on the same lookups.

The flow. With xMap Flows, Owen built Sage. When a broker asks in the research channel, Sage reads the question, counts who lives around the address, lists the shops and cafes nearby, and answers in the thread within a minute.

The result. Before a pitch in Liberty Village, a broker asks how many young adults live within a kilometre. Sage answers in forty seconds: eighteen thousand in their twenties and thirties, and forty-two cafes. The analysts are back on paid studies. Owen’s brokers stopped waiting for answers. Now they walk in with them.

The blocks behind it

Blocks are the building pieces of every flow. These are the ones law & professional services templates and stories use, most used first. Each has its own page with its settings, examples and a short film.

Questions

How can a law firm use xMap Flows?

To find companies at moments of need (new openings, fast hiring, moves), to track changes at existing clients and to run an intake chat.

Can it find referral partners?

Yes. Accountants, estate agents, notaries and translators near your offices, with ratings, scored as partners.

Is client data safe?

Flows only read the tables you connect. See the Security page for how data is protected and who can see it.

Which data is live?

Live: xMap's places database (300M+ places of more than 5,000 kinds), live business listings from online maps, job postings, road incidents, ships (AIS), satellite pictures, weather forecasts, news from the feeds and pages you choose, travel-time areas and routes on the road network, and residents by age (Demographics, in about 100 countries), live road speeds and congestion (Traffic Flow; it does not count cars), footfall around each place (Mobility Footfall, in most of the world, about 10 days behind), plus regional datasets where xMap offers them, such as cars counted on the roads of the United Arab Emirates (Road traffic history). Catchment returns sample figures for now, and every result made from it says so.

Do I need to write code?

No. A flow is built from blocks on a canvas, from a ready-made template, or by describing it to Ask xMap in a sentence; Ask xMap builds it, tests it and fixes what fails. Developers can also use the API and the MCP server.

How fast can a law & professional services team start?

Hire one of the AI employees above: answer two questions (the city and the kind of place), or write one sentence to make it yours ("for dental clinics in Lyon, to WhatsApp every Monday"), and it runs in your own account with results you can see. A new account can also type its website and meet three AI employees already tried in its city. Or try the home page first: no account needed.

Can an agency or consultancy offer this to its clients?

Yes. Your logo and colour on the app, emails and reports, emails from your own domain, the app on your own address, and a read-only page for each client with its results, map and weekly report. See the Partners page.
