What changed
What changed watches the places your flow already knows and lets through only the ones whose details changed since it last saw them: a place that closed, a rating that dropped or rose, a new phone number or website, a new name or address, or any field you name. Each one comes with a change line in plain words and the values it had before. Put it after the block that finds the places, and your team hears about a competitor closing or a key account’s rating falling the morning it happens.
In the editor: Lets through only the places this flow found before whose details changed since: closed, a rating that moved, a new phone or website, a new name or address, or any field you name. Each gets change (what changed, in words) and previous_ fields. The first real run only remembers; changes show from the next one.

Pick one or moreWhat counts as a change. Pick one or more.

A numberHow far the rating must move, up or down, to count. 0.3 catches 4.6 to 4.3.
Up or down. 0.3 catches a place going from 4.6 to 4.3.
Field name
TextFor Another field: the field to compare, as named in the run results.
Any field an earlier block adds, compared as it is written.
Needed before the flow can run.
Also let new places through
On or offOff: places this flow has not found before are only remembered. On: they go on too, with change New.
On: places this flow has not found before go on too, with change: New.
What comes out
Each item that leaves the block carries these fields, to use in the blocks after it as {{field}}.
Each place that changed
Places that did not change stop here. The changed ones go on with every field they came with, plus these.
change: What changed, in words.changed: The fields that changed.previous_rating, previous_phone ...: The value each changed field had before.
How to use it
Key accounts whose rating is slipping
A beverage distributor wants its account managers to call a key outlet when its customers start to complain.
Each account is looked up on the map every morning; only the ones whose rating moved reach the email, with the old and the new rating.
Competitors that closed
A pharmacy chain wants to know the week a competitor near one of its branches closes, to win its customers.
The scan finds the same pharmacies every week; What changed lets through only the ones that now say Closed.
Merchants that changed their details
A payments company keeps its merchants’ phone numbers and websites up to date for its risk team.
A new phone, website, name or address goes straight back into the merchants table, with the old value kept beside it.
Shops around our malls that closed or moved
The leasing team sees which neighbours closed or changed, the month it happened.
Hotels that changed their price level
A travel agency watches the price level of the hotels it sells.
Another field compares any field by name, here the price level POI Intelligence adds.
Clients’ competitors that renamed
A rename often means a new owner or a new concept: the agency hears about it the same week.
Good to know
- The first real run only remembers what it found: there is nothing to compare with yet. Changes show from the next real run.
- Every place that reaches it is remembered after each real run (a schedule, a webhook call, Run once), so a change is reported once, not every day.
- Places are matched by their own ID on the map, else by name and position, as in Only new.
- A test run compares with what the flow remembers but changes nothing in its memory.
- In the editor’s preview without a run, one place in four shows an example change, so the blocks after it have something to show.
- What changed is free.
