Three days’ warning before the wind
Youssef runs operations at one of Casablanca’s biggest catering firms. Every week they serve thirty weddings and parties in garden villas.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
Most are outdoors. When the Atlantic wind picks up or rain rolls in, his team scrambles for tents at double the price. Last June, a storm soaked a wedding of four hundred guests in Anfa, and that family has not booked them since.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Youssef built Planner. Planner is an AI employee: a flow of 6 blocks.
Every morning at six,
Every morning at 6 (Schedule)
Planner reads this week’s events,
This week’s events (My data)
checks the forecast at each venue three days ahead,
Each venue, 3 days ahead (Weather forecast)
asks whether rain or strong wind is coming,
Rain or strong wind? (Branch)
warns the client and the tent crew on WhatsApp,

and marks the rest as planned in the prep sheet.
Prep sheet: as planned (Google Sheets)
What it solves
- Last-minute tents: solved by Weather forecast and Branch
- Tents at double price: solved by WhatsApp Business
- A soaked wedding: solved by Branch and WhatsApp Business
The result
On Tuesday, Planner sees gusts of fifty kilometres an hour coming on Saturday in Ain Diab. Youssef has three days, not three hours. The tent comes at the normal price, the guests stay dry, and the bride’s mother sends him flowers.
Youssef still cannot stop the wind. He just sees it coming three days early.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.
