From crash to garage in one call
Beatriz leads car claims at a large insurer in Rio de Janeiro. Two hundred drivers report a damaged car every day.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
Each driver waits on the phone while an agent hunts for a garage. The nearest one is full, the next one is across the bay. Cars sit for a week before anyone looks at them, and every day costs a rental car.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Beatriz built Relay. Relay is an AI employee: a flow of 6 blocks.
Whenever a new claim comes in,
A claim comes in (New rows)
Relay finds the three approved garages nearest the car,
3 nearest approved garages (Find nearest)
checks their free slots in the garage list,
Free slots this week (Match with my table)
picks the soonest repair,
The soonest repair (Calculated field)
tells the driver where and when on WhatsApp,

and sends the garage the claim file.

What it solves
- Drivers on hold: solved by New rows and WhatsApp Business
- Nearest garage is full: solved by Find nearest and Match with my table and Calculated field
- A week of rental cars: solved by Gmail
The result
Now a driver in Tijuca hangs up with a booking for Wednesday morning, at a garage two kilometres away. Cars reach a garage in two days instead of seven, and the insurer pays five fewer days of rental car on every claim.
Beatriz's drivers stopped waiting for a garage. The garage is waiting for them.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.
