Fixes from testing every Showcases story
- AI agents: an app linked to an agent’s Tools (a Google Calendar event, for example) now gets the inputs you wrote
{{agent}}in, filled by the agent for each call, and{{agent: what to put}}is no longer shown as a mistake. When something the agent sent does not go through, its answer says so instead of “Booked”, and the step is marked. Agents know today’s date in your time zone, stay on what the flow is for, and answer without Markdown stars. A chat whose tools found live data no longer says “sample places”. After an agent, “+” offers Reply first, and the Chat button shows as soon as a Chat block is on the canvas. - Telegram: a message’s chat and a shared location are now fields (
{{chat_id}}, and the location as the item’s position), and new Telegram blocks send plain text, so a full stop or a bracket no longer makes Telegram refuse the message. - Microsoft Teams: signing in now asks only for what sending messages needs, so a work or school account connects without an admin’s approval in most organizations. Creating channels, reading channel messages, team members and meeting transcripts were left out, since they need an admin.
- Explain and fix now looks at the whole flow, whichever block is selected, keeps your own tables in place, and when an account’s sign-in has run out it tells you which one to connect again instead of changing the flow.
- News: “Only stories with these words” matches whole words (accents do not matter), so Natura no longer matches temperatura, and each story says which words matched (
matched_words). Feeds written in older character sets show their accents right. - Match with my table has a new choice, The item mentions it: a short name in your table (a client called Vale) is found inside a headline or any text.
- My data: a sheet whose address column is called “Delivery address”, “Customer Address” or the like is now placed on the map.
- Weather forecast: wind now comes with its gusts (
gust_max_kmh) and the day of the strongest wind, Filter and Branch have Wind (km/h) and Wind gusts (km/h), the summary speaks only of what you included (no rain talk when you picked Wind), each day in the forecast has its chance of rain, and 1 day ahead is said as today. - Run panel: the summary lists only the blocks that really sent something (a skipped block, or an Email whose items had no address, is no longer “emailed”); the fields the last blocks added (a score, a stop number) come right after the name; a long text opens in place with a click; pictures show as (picture); and Back to the results is a button above the block’s fields.
- Schedule: the Next line follows the time as you type it, names the time zone, and gives the year of a run in another year.
- Mobility Footfall: each part of the day names its hours and its average an hour, a new field
footfall_by_hourgives every hour, and a window with fewer days of data than asked, a trend that needs more days, or a busiest day that needs a full week now say so. - Smaller fixes: Sort and limit by Rating now orders by the rating itself, with places rated by fewer than 10 people after the others; a data block whose search words hold a
{{field}}says when only the first of many items filled it; made-up Apollo contacts in a test say so on each item; Reply answers nothing (instead of failing) on an app’s example message when you run the flow by hand, and its two settings have their own names; an Email whose subject has its own{{fields}}keeps it as written; list emails leave out codes such as slugs and put scores first; Demographics says an average as an average. - My data in the editor: a My data block now shows its table’s own columns under Fields coming in (not made-up city and category), its name on the canvas, and its real number of rows in the cost before a run.
- Editor: the “+” menu after a block opens on a search box, so typing finds any block (Space no longer adds the first one); Test with… takes a typed message for flows started by a chat or an app’s message; an app input whose fields depend on an earlier choice (a sheet’s columns) says what to pick first; and the cost before a run counts what News feeds really bring.
- Also: app blocks have a “+” to add the next block; a picked choice in a block’s settings shows a tick; if your sign-in ends while you work, one window says so and brings you back after you sign in again; a Run once that stops for a missing account points to Test run, which needs none.
- And: an AI agent’s tool calls (what each was asked and found, and what failed) show under its row in the run; Traffic incidents around each place give the nearest one’s distance, road and position and a list of all of them; Custom code keeps every console line; Map business scan drops its default categories once you type your own search words, and starts on looking up each company when added after Job postings or a table; an app list that cannot load says why under it; the template Store locator chat no longer promises what it does not do.
- Ask xMap tries the web addresses it writes into News and Web page watch blocks, and fixes any that do not exist before you see the flow. A Filter on a field such as rain now says, when the block that gives it is already before it, that it gave nothing for those items.
- Tests of flows started by an app event place the app’s example in your flow’s own city (its Area of interest) instead of London, and say so.
- Approval pages show every item (up to 50) in full, not the first 10 cut short, and say how to approve items one by one.
- Make a report puts what the flow worked out first in its table (a score, a rank, a figure per place, a job’s title and company) instead of fields such as Population male. Demographics hexagons are named by their neighbourhood (the code stays in
h3_cell). - Filter and Branch can keep items whose field has a value or is empty. A step that ran but needs your attention before it can send for real now says Check, not Done. Jev says when nearly every item got the same answer, Route planner says when it reused an earlier route for free, Map business scan says how many companies it could not find, and a WhatsApp connection made with a token is checked with Meta by its Test button. Demographics and Mobility Footfall’s hints say what they give and what the window holds.
- Templates: a template page says what Use it now does (it runs once and keeps working, unless you turn Keep it running off); the Hire window of a chat says it answers each message as it comes, with a chat example; and Change it first no longer runs a chat on its own.
- Small things: Arabic answers in chats show in a plain face; when a Branch sent the items down its other path, the run says so instead of “Found nothing”; a new empty flow starts with its name ready to type; the results table’s headers are in words (the field’s name on hover); on phones the list of steps leaves room for the buttons over it; and the first Run once of a flow that sends says that it really sends.
- Custom code that cannot be read stops the run before any block runs or is charged. Filter and Branch say their comparisons in words (at least, at most). A new Route planner starts from its first stop instead of a place in London.
- Connections: a WhatsApp connection made with a token explains in Meta’s current words where to find the account ID and how to get a token that lasts (the one on API Setup stops after 24 hours), and a working sign-in’s Sign in again button no longer looks like a warning.
- Ask xMap keeps the subject you name for news, a time window you give for a schedule, and a job search close to the district you name. A block that sends lists
{{date}},{{flow}},{{count}}and{{map}}beside the fields coming in. - Nearby places: “hospital” now includes university hospitals, and parcel or smart lockers find Package lockers.
- Runs: a run that waits for approval no longer says it was sent for real, and a flow on your own table no longer mentions sample places. Weather forecast on Automatic no longer says the places that came in were not passed on.
- Zone alert: when Ask xMap builds a zone named after a place (“Crossed into France”) and nobody drew it, the zone is that place’s outline, so the flow runs straight away. A point written as
{{lat}}, {{lng}}(filled from each incoming item, such as a shared location) is no longer marked as a mistake.
