Every visit made before the storm
Huong is a home-care nurse in Ho Chi Minh City. She rides her scooter to nine elderly patients a day.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
In the rainy season, the afternoon storms come fast. Streets flood in minutes, and she sits under a bridge for an hour while a patient waits for insulin. She plans her day by looking at the sky, and the sky keeps changing its mind.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Huong built Lynx. Lynx is an AI employee: a flow of 6 blocks.
Every morning at six,
Every morning at 6 (Schedule)
Lynx takes her nine patients,
Her nine patients (My data)
checks the rain forecast at each home,
Rain at each home (Weather forecast)
puts the homes facing heavy rain in the morning,
Morning or afternoon (Calculated field)
plans a morning loop and an afternoon loop,
Two loops by scooter (Route planner)
and tells each family when she will arrive.
Times for each family (WhatsApp Business)
What it solves
- Storms come fast: solved by Weather forecast
- An hour under a bridge: solved by Calculated field and Route planner
- Insulin arrives late: solved by Route planner and WhatsApp Business
The result
Yesterday, Lynx saw heavy rain coming to Binh Thanh. Huong saw those four patients before lunch, and spent the storm indoors with a patient across the river. Nine visits, no flooded streets, and every dose of insulin on time.
Huong still works in the rainy season. She just stopped working in the rain.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.

Two loops by scooter
Puts the places that reach it in the best order to visit them in a day, from a start you pick: one route, one for each rep (by a field such as owner), or shared out between a number of reps.
