The city’s favourite kitchens, on the food floor
Paolo leads leasing at a large mall in Bonifacio Global City, in Manila. He has seven empty food units to fill.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
Every mall chases the same big chains, and they drive hard bargains. The local favourites with queues out the door are harder to find, and nobody on his team has time to eat their way across Metro Manila. The empty units cost the mall every month.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Paolo built Matchmaker. Matchmaker is an AI employee: a flow of 7 blocks.
On the first of every month,
First of the month (Schedule)
across Metro Manila,
Metro Manila (Area of interest)
Matchmaker finds the independent restaurants rated four and a half or more,
Independents rated 4.5+ (Nearby places)
keeps the ones with hundreds of reviews,
Hundreds of reviews (Filter)
scores how well each would fit the mall’s food floor,
Fit for the mall (xMap LLM)
keeps the top fifteen,
The top fifteen (Sort and limit)
and sends each owner a first hello, once Paolo approves it.

What it solves
- Same chains, hard deals: solved by Nearby places
- Local gems are hidden: solved by Filter and xMap LLM
- Empty units cost money: solved by Sort and limit and Outreach
The result
This month, Matchmaker found forty-two loved local restaurants with a single branch. Paolo’s team met the top fifteen, and three signed, including a family-run lechon place from Quezon City that now has a queue on the second floor.
Paolo stopped chasing the chains. Now the city’s favourites come to him.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.

Independents rated 4.5+
Places around a point from xMap’s own places database (300M+ places, refreshed every month): pick the types of place (more than 5,000, such as Restaurant, Cafe, Pharmacy, Hospital or Gas station, or a whole group of them) and how far to look.

The top fifteen
Puts the items in order, and can keep only the first ones: the 10 best rated, the 20 nearest, the highest fit scores.

A first hello
Writes to each result for you: a first message, then up to two follow-ups a few days apart, and stops when they reply.
