The tenant outgrowing its floor, seen in its hiring
Aino leads leasing for a large office landlord in Helsinki. Her buildings sit across Kamppi, Ruoholahti and Pasila.
Listen to the story:
The challenge
Tenants rarely say they are outgrowing their space until the lease is nearly up. By then a rival landlord has shown them a bigger floor. This year she lost three growing tenants that way, and their floors sat empty for months.
How the flow works
With xMap Flows, Aino built Sextant. Sextant is an AI employee: a flow of 5 blocks.
Every Monday at eight,
Every Monday at 8 (Schedule)
Sextant finds the companies hiring in Helsinki this week,
Companies hiring in Helsinki (Job postings)
keeps the ones that are her tenants,
Our tenants only (Match with my table)
reads the roles they are filling and writes who may need more room,
Who may need more space (xMap LLM)
and emails the leasing team.
To the leasing team (Microsoft Outlook)
What it solves
- Growth spotted too late: solved by Job postings and Match with my table
- Rivals pitch first: solved by xMap LLM and Microsoft Outlook
- Empty floors for months: solved by Schedule and xMap LLM
The result
This Monday, Sextant found nine tenants hiring, and one software firm in Ruoholahti posting fourteen roles. Aino offered them the empty floor upstairs before their lease review, and they signed for it in three weeks.
Aino no longer waits for tenants to say they’ve grown. She sees them hiring.
An illustrative scenario: the figures are modelled to show what the flow produces, not a customer's results.
