People per recycling centre, block by block
The blocks furthest from a recycling centre, for the recycling plan.
What it does
Every year: how many people live in each part of your city and how many recycling centres are within 3 km, the least served blocks first, as a note for the waste and recycling plan.
In one sentence: Monthly on the 1st at 08:00, in Santiago, count who lives around, sort them by population and keep the top 80, count the recycling centers and recycling drop-off locations within 2 km of each, work out new fields, sort them by per_centre and keep the top 15, write a report with xMap AI, then email the list to you.
Why it is useful
People recycle more when drop-off is close. This shows where new points would raise recycling most.

How to set it up
- Build your first flow in ten minutes: From a blank page to a flow that emails you a ranked list every morning.
- Ask the map a question: How many of a kind of place, how many people for each, and where the gaps are, answered on the spot.
- Count what is around each of your places: Competitors, footfall magnets or services within a distance of each site.
- Compare sites side by side: Two or three spots measured the same way, one column each, the best of every row marked and the best site and why.
- Location intelligence: Using where things are, and what is around them, to make business decisions.
- Site selection: Choosing where to open a store, branch, clinic or facility.
- Satellite imagery (Sentinel-2): Regular free pictures of the Earth from space.
