The next clinic, where the people are

Ploy leads expansion at one of Bangkok's biggest family clinic chains. The board wants five new clinics next year. For every site, her team spends two weeks on spreadsheets and visits. Who lives nearby? How many clinics already compete? The answers are always out of date. The last clinic opened in a street full of offices: busy at lunch, empty every evening. With xMap Flows, Ploy built Atlas. Whenever her team adds a possible site, Atlas draws everything within fifteen minutes by car, counts the children and older people living inside, finds the clinics already there, works out how many people each clinic serves, and sends the board a report the same day. This month her team tested twenty-two sites, not four. In Bang Na, two hundred and ten thousand people live within fifteen minutes, one clinic for every nineteen thousand. That site went to the board on Monday and was approved on Friday. Ploy stopped guessing where people live. Now she opens where they need her.
