New block: Nearby places
- Nearby places finds the places of a type around a point from xMap’s own places database: restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, hospitals, gas stations, gyms, banks, hotels, schools and more than 5,000 other types, up to 25 km away.
- Put it after your own stores, sites or customers to find what is around each one, or switch Pass on to counts: each of your places then gets how many are around it, the nearest one and how far it is, their average rating and how many are chains. The competitors around a store, in one block.
- Every place comes with its distance, brand, whether it belongs to a chain, its rating and reviews, when it opened, a traffic score and how long people stay. Filter by open places only, chains or independents, and a minimum rating.
- Pick a type, or a whole small group such as Gas Station (all 6 types), or type the kind of place in your own words: cafes, hospitals, petrol stations or salons are turned into the database’s own types, and the block says when a word is not in its list.
- Area of interest: Draw your areas now has Points. Click the map to drop one or several points and pick how far around each to look (250 m to 25 km); every block after it searches around each point.
