Catchment area
The area a store or service draws its customers from.
A catchment (or trade) area is where most of a location's customers come from. It shapes how many people a site can serve, who they are and how many competitors split them.
The simplest catchment is a radius; better ones follow travel time or observed visits. In xMap Flows you can measure the people inside a radius with Demographics and the competition with Nearby places counting around each site.
