What Apollo.io is
Apollo.io is a sales intelligence and engagement platform with a large database of companies and contacts, used to find decision makers and run outreach.
It starts from companies and people, not from what exists on a street or opened this week in a district.
Where xMap Flows is different
- Each flow is an AI employee with a job: a role, a timetable, a monthly budget, and a choice of how much it does alone (ask me first, act and tell me, or fully on its own). Together they work as a team: an org chart, handoffs from one to the next, a Team inbox where each reports, and a weekly review.
- Finds the local businesses and sites first: by type, area, opening date, rating, chain or independent.
- Then uses your own Apollo account in the same flow to find the decision makers at each one.
- Ranks them with xMap AI and delivers them to the rep each morning.
When Apollo.io is the better choice
We would rather you use the right tool. Apollo.io is likely the better fit when:
- Prospecting companies where location does not matter.
- Email sequences and outreach at scale.
Use them together
Connect Apollo under Connections and add the Apollo block after the places: each company gets its decision makers, ready for your CRM or Apollo sequences.
Moving to xMap Flows
- Nothing to switch: xMap Flows works with your Apollo account.
Most teams start from a template or by describing the flow to Ask xMap.
Questions
Does xMap Flows include Apollo credits?
No. The Apollo block uses your own Apollo account; full contact details use your Apollo credits.
