Area of interest (AOI)
The region a search or analysis is limited to.
An area of interest is the region you care about for a task: a city, a sales territory, a district, a radius around a site, or a hand-drawn shape. Limiting searches to it keeps results relevant and costs predictable.
The Area of interest block holds cities, countries, places with a distance, drawn shapes and points; every data block after it searches there. Large areas are covered in parts, and results outside the area are dropped.
