Public tenders

Public tenders brings in new public tenders (RFPs, invitations to bid, requests for expressions of interest) from official sources: the EU’s TED for every EU and EEA country, the UK’s Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, the US SAM.gov, CanadaBuys, and World Bank-funded projects in developing countries. Pick countries and say what the tenders are about; each comes with its buyer, deadline, value when given and a link, and the step says exactly which source covered which country.

Countries or regions

A list you type

Countries, European Union (every EU and EEA country), or Worldwide (every source). Each country goes to the source that covers it; a country with no free source, such as Australia or Japan, is named in the step, and a worldwide tender service covers it once switched on.

Searches TED (EU and EEA): all EU and EEA countries; Find a Tender (UK): United Kingdom; Contracts Finder (UK): United Kingdom.

Pick from 56 choices.

About

Text

A tender is kept when its title, summary, category or buyer has any of the words. For the EU the words are searched in every language TED holds.

Comma-separated words; a tender with any of them in its title, summary or category is kept. Empty keeps every tender.

CPV or NAICS codes

Text

CPV codes for European and UK tenders, NAICS for the US, UNSPSC for Canada; a code matches every code that starts with it (45 is all construction work).

Tenders whose code starts with one of these. World Bank notices have no codes: they are kept by the words above.

Keep only tenders about (xMap AI)

Text, several lines

In your own words, what you can bid for. xMap AI reads each tender’s title, buyer, category and summary and keeps the ones that fit.

Optional. Describe what you can bid for and xMap AI keeps only those.

Find the buyer’s position

On or off

The buyer’s city gives each tender a position, so tenders can go on a map.

The buyer’s city gives each tender lat and lng, so it can go on a map.

What comes out

Each item that leaves the block carries these fields, to use in the blocks after it as {{field}}.

Each tender, as an item

The newest first, after the countries, words, codes and the AI filter.

  • title, name: The tender’s title, as the buyer wrote it.
  • buyer: Who is buying.
  • country, city: Where the buyer is.
  • deadline: The last day to answer.
  • published: When it was published.
  • value, currency: The estimated value, when the notice gives one.
  • category, codes: What it is, and its CPV, NAICS or UNSPSC codes.
  • notice_type, summary: The kind of notice and a short summary (never the whole notice).
  • link, source: The notice itself, and the source it came from.
  • lat, lng: The buyer’s city, for a map.

Good to know

  • 2 credits for each tender kept, and 1 for each tender xMap AI reads when you describe what to keep.
  • The step names each source and the countries it searched, and any country no free source covers.
  • SAM.gov needs xMap’s key for US tenders; until it is set, the US part is example tenders and the step and every email say so.
  • The Asian and African Development Banks and UNDP do not let robots read their notices, and Australia’s AusTender publishes awarded contracts only; a worldwide tender service covers them once switched on.
  • Values and currencies are as the notice gives them; many notices give none.
  • Put Only new after it so each tender comes once: it knows a tender by its id at the source.
  • Always read the full notice before you bid: the summary is short and deadlines can be changed.

Works well with

  • Only new: Lets through only the items this flow has not found before, so a daily flow sends only what is new.
  • xMap LLM: Tell the AI what to do in plain words.
  • Filter: Keeps only the items that match a rule.
  • Email: Sends one email per run with all the items, or one email per item.
  • Show on a map: Shows the results as points on a map, with the area of interest.
  • HubSpot: Powerful CRM that offers tools for sales, customer service, and marketing automation.
  • Slack: Channel-based messaging platform
