Every building site checked from space before payday
Hamad is project director at a large property developer in Doha. He has twelve buildings going up at once, from Lusail to West Bay. Every month each contractor claims how far along it is, and the payment follows the claim. Hamad cannot visit twelve sites a month, and a drone survey costs more than he can justify. Last year he paid for a floor that was not there yet. With xMap Flows, Hamad built Skyline. Every second Monday, Skyline reads the sites under construction from the project list, finds the newest clear satellite picture of each one, adds each one to the site log, and emails Hamad all twelve pictures, with the day each was taken. Before each payment meeting, Hamad flips through twelve pictures from the last few days. Eleven sites match their claims. One still shows bare ground where the contractor claims a finished podium, so that payment waits. Hamad still trusts his contractors. Now he checks from space first.
Scenarios and figures in the films are modelled to show what a flow produces. None describes a named customer.
