Sixty dealers watched, three worth a visit
Farah manages sixty dealers for one of Malaysia’s biggest paint makers, across Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. She hears about trouble too late. A dealer closes, and orders keep going to an empty shop for weeks. Another one’s rating slides from four point five to three, and nobody asks why until sales fall. Farah has time to visit ten dealers a month. With xMap Flows, Farah built Watchman. Every Monday at eight, Watchman takes her sixty dealers, looks each one up on the map, keeps only the ones that closed or slipped, puts the worst first, adds them to the dealer sheet, and tells Farah who to visit first. This Monday, Watchman flags three dealers. One in Shah Alam closed on Friday, and its orders stop that morning. Another in Cheras fell to three point two, and Farah visits it on Tuesday. The other fifty-seven stay off her list. Farah no longer finds out when sales fall. She finds out when ratings do.
Scenarios and figures in the films are modelled to show what a flow produces. None describes a named customer.
