Geocoding
Turning an address or place name into coordinates.
Geocoding converts text such as Oxford Street, London into a latitude and longitude, so it can be put on a map and measured against other places. Its result is only as precise as the input: a full street address lands on a building, a city name lands on the city's middle.
xMap Flows geocodes the cities and places you type into an Area of interest, the locations of job postings, and city names that come in through a webhook, so later blocks can search around them and maps can show them.
