Short notes an assistant keeps about you between conversations, so it does not ask again.
Most chat assistants forget everything when a conversation ends. An assistant with memory keeps a few short notes about the person it works for: their role, the places and kinds of business they cover, how they like answers, standing instructions such as always give prices in dirhams. The next conversation starts with those notes, so the person does not repeat themselves.
What good memory looks like
- The person can see every note, add one, forget one or forget everything.
- Notes describe the person; they are never orders the assistant carries out on its own.
- Only that person can read them, not their company’s admins.
- Nothing sensitive (passwords, card numbers, health details) is kept.
