Read your own database, and look items up in your CRM
CRM lookup (Your data) searches your CRM for each item through the CRM’s own search: is this company already a customer, is this email a contact? HubSpot and Salesforce for now. It adds the record’s fields, or keeps only the items in the CRM, or only the new ones. For a flow that starts when a CRM record is added, use the new App events triggers.
Database query (Your data) reads rows from your own PostgreSQL, BigQuery or Snowflake with a SELECT query: each row becomes an item, and latitude and longitude columns become its position. {{field}} from a Webhook and {{vars.name}} are bound as parameters, so a value can never change the query.
Database lookup looks each incoming item up in a table of your database (your customers, your sites), adds its columns, or keeps only the items you already have, or only the new ones.
The connection test now signs in for real. Snowflake needs a key pair for live queries (its SQL API does not take a password): the connection has a field for the private key.
